The FAQ's
Do you Travel?
Yes! Even though I am based in Austin, TX I do currently travel to Houston, Maryland, Virginia & DC.
How many photos do we get?
It all depends on which session & package type you choose. For our base portrait sessions we start with 50 digital images. For an upgraded Intimate Wedding package we offer 275 digital images.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, all of our images are edited & retouched in color & b/w.
How do we book you?
You can book me through my consultation form or you can fill out the form on my Contact Page & from there we will have a Consultation & you can book me then!
How far out do you book?
The sooner the better! It's always best to reserve your date asap especially during the busy months in fall & during the holiday season.
What should we wear?
Wear what you feel most comfortable in! Depending on what session you choose, I recommend solid colors, nothing too distracting. I will send you a guide when you book your session, which will explain what to wear for your upcoming session.
What gear do you use?
2 Full frame digital Canon Camera bodies. 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 75-200mm lenses. 2 Canon flash units.
How long have you been doing this?
I have been a Professional Portrait Photographer since 2006. I studied Photography in different mediums & worked with several different Photographers while in school during my Undergrad at Columbia College in Chicago, Il.
How do we get our photos?
Every session includes your own private Client Gallery with the best edited high resolution digital images for you to download, view, share & buy prints & products from.
Whats your turn around time?
It depends on what Session you choose. The turn around time for Portraits is 1 week. For Family sessions it's 2 weeks. For Couples its normally 3 weeks. You will be able to get a Sneak Peek of a few images 5 days after each session!
Can you help us with planning?
Yes, I can! But for weddings I do recommend hiring a Wedding Planner. It just takes away that extra stress so you can enjoy your Big Day!
What should we do for an engagement session?
I will send you my Engagement Session Guide, which will guide you through what to wear, how to pose & some locations I recommend after we have had a consultation & the 30% retainer and contract is signed.

What locations do you photograph at?
In Austin I recommend several places. In front of the Capital building, near the Congress Bridge, McKinney Falls, at a winery, park or in your own backyard just to name a few.
