How I Got Started
Hi friend, I'm Lina! I'm the face & name behind the camera & the Owner & Photographer of LM/Lina Marija Photography.
I'm originally from Chicago Illinois born and raised & my heritage is Lithuanian. I've been a Professional Photographer since 2006, specializing in portraits, families & couples. It all started at Columbia College in Chicago, IL where I studied Photography. I worked for various photographer's in different mediums & started my own business thereafter.
My Photo Style
I've always been a creative at heart since I was young. I'm passionate about the art of photography & the entire creative process of it all.
My photographic style is: playful, emotional, authentic, organic, candid & posed. I mainly photograph outside & use natural lighting as much as I can. I just love the organic look & feel! What I love the most about photography is making strong connections with my clients & capturing all the genuine & heartfelt moments!
My Favorite Things
When I'm not photographing I enjoy exploring Austin, listening to live music, going to wineries, exploring museums, relaxing, laying by the pool & spending time with my friends, & fur baby in Southwest Austin Texas.

A Little More About Me
I spent 12 years in the DC area, I worked as a Special Events Coordinator for a nonprofit organization (which are two of my passions, the Nonprofit sector & the Event Industry), while still doing photography. I have an Event Certificate in Event Management & I studied Nonprofit & Association Management in Graduate School.
After spending 12 years in the DC area, I decided to relocate to Austin, TX to pursue my creative efforts even further.
